Europa impulsa nuestro crecimiento.
Strategic R&D Plan: High-Altitude Satellite Launcher and HAPS Operations
B2Space Launch Systems, S.L. is developing the following projects under Castilla y León’s 2018 funding call for Strategic Business R&D Plans:
- 10/18/BU/0026 — High-Altitude Satellite Launcher: development of Rockoon technology and its structural, control, navigation and telemetry subsystems, to advance towards more flexible and lower-cost launches of small satellites.
- 10/18/BU/0027 — High-Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (HAPS) Service: development of altitude control and communications systems for stratospheric balloons, intended for observation and connectivity applications.
- 10/18/BU/0028 — Facility Preparation and Commercialisation: preparation of facilities, equipment and technical capabilities for the integration and validation of satellite launcher and HAPS technologies, supporting their future commercialisation.
The expected outcomes include technological solutions for the Rockoon system, HAPS control and communications systems, and integration and validation capabilities for both developments.
These projects are co-financed by the Regional Government of Castilla y León, through ICE, and by the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Castilla y León Operational Programme 2014–2020, Thematic Objective 1: strengthening research, technological development and innovation.
Europe drives our growth.
